American Pistolsmiths Guild Gun of the Year 2007

About the American Pistolsmiths Guild
Established in 1981, the American Pistolsmiths Guild was created “to promote a standard for quality, honesty, and workmanship in the pistol smithing trade by ascertaining the competency of anyone before they are recognized and admitted to the Pistolsmith Guild, and to provide a free exchange of technical data between the members of the Guild, for fostering a fraternal feeling among its members and to do the things that stand for the benefit of the organization and the advancement of the pistol smithing profession.”
The American Pistolsmiths Guild’s “Gun of the Year” for 2007 was an exquisite custom single action revolver built by Ron Power.
The specific gun was a highly customized single-action revolver. The award recognized Ron Power’s work, which transformed a base single action into a magnificent, unique specimen showcasing the fine craftsmanship of the guild’s members. Ron Power was also recognized as the “Pistolsmith of the Year” by the Guild in 2007.
