It is unlawful to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). Firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL dealer near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select before shipping any firearms.

Children. We are a family business and welcome your family into our store. We ask that you keep a few things in mind. We stock expensive firearms and other merchandise and ask that your children do not touch with, hang on, climb or drop any of the items in the store. Please watch your children, parents will be held legally and financially responsible for the actions of their children.

Products. We make every attempt to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on our website and all of our listings. (Ebay, Gunbroker etc.). We reserve the right to correct any errors that may appear.

Warranties – New Firearms. GunHippo is not a warranty repair center. We make no express or implied warranty whatsoever with respect to any merchandise. The only warranties provided are provided by the manufacturers. Please consult the documentation that came with your purchase. We will work with you in a reasonable manner to resolve any problems you may encounter.

Warranties – Used. All used firearms are sold as-is, where-is. There are no warranties expressed or implied with respect to used firearms.

Return Policy. FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION CANNOT BE RETURNED. All other merchandise must be with the original receipt and in the original packaging. NO RETURNS AFTER 15 DAYS.

Prices. GunHippo strives to provide competitive pricing with all of our merchandise. We reserve the right to price match any other published prices. For incorrectly priced items we reserve the right to sell the items at the correct price.

Sales Tax. All sales are subject to 6% sales tax.

Background Check Fee. There is a $20.00 background check fee, (pass or fail) for all firearms purchased in the store. Person to person transfers in the store are $30.00. Internet transfers are $30.00.

Age Restrictions. You must be 18 years old to purchase a shotgun, rifle or ammunition. You must be 21 years old to purchase a handgun and handgun ammunition.

Waiting period/ID. There is no waiting period to purchase firearms in PA. All firearms purchased from an FFL dealer require a background check. Background checks are conducted through the Pennsylvania State Police PICS system. You MUST have a VALID government issued photo ID. Out of state residents can purchase long guns in PA that are legal in their home state. Out of state residents can purchase a handgun but cannot take possession of the gun. It would have to be shipped to an FFL dealer in their state.

Secure Transmission. All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL),. SSL Certificates creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitors browser. This link ensures that all date passed remains private and secure.
